Other Streaming Platforms

Vendivo can prepare and control a standard landscape OBS production for destinations that provide an RTMP or RTMPS server and stream key. The destination still controls account access, show scheduling, chat, and commerce actions; Vendivo's START and STOP controls own the standard RTMP broadcast output.

For Whatnot's dedicated portrait and Show Tools workflow, use Whatnot Setup instead.

Choose the marketplace mode

Under Show Settings → Accounts & Marketplaces, choose where the show is selling:

• Manual / External
• Whatnot
• eBay Live
• TikTok Shop

Use Manual / External when Vendivo will send a standard RTMP output without a direct marketplace integration. Account eligibility and desktop-streaming access still come from the destination.

Under Output & Recording, the standard RTMP destination picker offers Selling marketplace, YouTube Live, Twitch, and Custom RTMP. This is where you enter the server and stream key; it is separate from the marketplace choice above.

Set up a landscape broadcast

1. Open Live Selling and the correct studio.
2. Under Accounts & Marketplaces, choose Manual / External or the appropriate marketplace before assigning cameras.
3. Build the SHOW QUEUE with at least one item.
4. Under Cameras, assign Camera 1 for one camera, Wide / Host and Product for two cameras, or Overview, Product, and Host for three cameras.
5. Under Production Engine, select Set Up OBS Automatically or Sync OBS Setup.
6. Under Audio, test and apply the show microphone or deliberately choose video-only.
7. Under Output & Recording, choose the RTMP destination, enter its server and private stream key, choose the recording folder, decide whether to enable Record with broadcast, then select Apply & Verify.
8. Test each required program view while the broadcast is off.
9. Select Start Show in Vendivo.
10. Select START in Vendivo to begin the public RTMP broadcast. If you prefer a separate manual recording, select RECORD before START and confirm the control changes to RECORDING.
11. Confirm the destination reports that the stream is live.

Vendivo stores the private stream key in the Mac Keychain. Paste credentials only from the destination's official seller or creator tools.

Standard landscape views

The normal landscape workspace uses these operating views:

• Host
• Break
• Close-up
• Protected Overview

Camera assignment labels depend on camera count:

• One camera: the same camera supplies all required views.
• Two cameras: assign Wide / Host and Product. The wide camera supplies Host and protected Overview; Product supplies Break and Close-up.
• Three cameras: assign Overview, Product, and Host.

These are different from Whatnot's Seller, Product, Stacked, and Picture-in-Picture portrait views.

Start Show and broadcast are separate

Start Show begins the local Vendivo timeline and stages the first item. Select START in Vendivo to begin standard RTMP output. Confirm both states separately.

When you are finished:

1. Select STOP in Vendivo and confirm the destination is off air.
2. If Record with broadcast started the recording, confirm it stopped with the broadcast. Otherwise stop the manual recording and verify the file.
3. Select End Show in Vendivo to finish and save the timeline.

Ending a Vendivo show does not guarantee that a destination broadcast has stopped.

OBS Virtual Camera

OBS Virtual Camera publishes the composed OBS picture to software that only offers a camera picker. It carries no OBS audio. Choose a separate microphone in the destination app.

This is a compatibility path, not the preferred Whatnot path. It also does not turn a camera-picker app into a managed RTMP destination.

Camera Home and Vendivo Phone Camera (Direct)

Camera Home and Vendivo Phone Camera (Direct) are designed for the forthcoming phone companions. Those companion apps are not public customer downloads, and Camera Home does not currently select local Mac cameras.

Use Live Selling for the released local-camera production workflow.

Normal Mode and Pro Mode

Normal Mode keeps the full OBS interface out of the way while Vendivo controls the local production engine. Open the ellipsis menu (More Studio controls) and choose Open Pro Mode only for intentional filters, routing, transforms, sources, or other advanced OBS changes.

If the same camera or engine can be reconnected during an interrupted show, leave the show open and select Recover or Recover Program. If a Pro Mode assignment, source, or scene must change, select STOP and confirm off-air, stop and finalize recording, select End Show, wait for output or setup transitions to finish, then synchronize the production engine and repeat output and camera-view verification.
